Suggestions: This is the wine you definitely want for tomato based pastas its hint of acidity balances the tomato taste well.  Light cream sauces could be a nice pairing too as long as the creaminess of them won’t overpower the wine. It will also be perfect for white lean meats such as fish, turkey and chicken.

I might as well have it with spicy dishes like a good curry.

This wine is surprisingly dry for a chardonnay. The sweet nose does not exactly prepare you for the surprise.

Ksara Cuvée du Pape 2010 holds its own, the feel of it is amazing in the mouth as you swirl it around to get the full taste. I would describe it as a well balanced and round wine that is very pleasant to drink even alone.

So no wonder Ksara Cuvée du Pape 2010 won the gold medal in the Chardonnay du Monde 2011 contest.

  1. OK, I am going to add this to my wine order from Lebanon. I trust you… Oh and the judges too I suppose. 😉

    1. They do! They have been coming up with really fine wines lately. Anyway what is my opinion in comparison to the judges who gave it a gold medal!
